Appoly builds bespoke software for businesses that are losing time or money to manual processes, spreadsheets or systems that no longer fit how they work. Before we write any code, we look at how the work actually gets done and where the waste is. That might lead to a new platform or to an AI agent that handles one repetitive task, and occasionally to a change that needs no software at all.
We also work with startups, from scoping a first product to developing it once it has users.
We expect your system to need changes after launch as your business grows. Most clients keep us on to support and develop what we’ve built, and you own the code once the project is paid for.
Our developers use AI throughout each project, so we deliver much faster than we used to. A developer reviews every change before it goes live. We run AI agents in our own business too, and publish the tools we build for ourselves on GitHub.
James Merrix and Guy Stanton started Appoly in Leamington Spa in 2017. We’re now around 25 people across Appoly, Red C in London and Appoly Intelligence, our AI consultancy, with an office in Melbourne.
