AI from Hype to Habit: a free afternoon at Wildes on 10 DecemberBlog

AI from Hype to Habit, Thursday 10 December, 2pm, Wildes, Leamington Spa

On Thursday 10 December we’re running a free afternoon at Wildes in Leamington Spa for business owners, MDs and managers who have tried ChatGPT or Copilot and want to know what comes next. It starts at 2pm, there are drinks afterwards, and you don’t need a technical background.

Why we’re doing it

Most people we talk to have used a chat assistant to write emails or summarise documents, which helps one person with one task. The assistant can’t see your systems, and nobody owns what it produces, so on Monday the business runs the same way it did the week before.

AI starts to change how a business runs when it’s built into a specific job and a person approves what it produces. That’s what we build, and on the day we’ll show you some of it.

What we’ll cover

  • You’ve tried ChatGPT. Monday looks the same. Why a chat subscription rarely changes how the work gets done.
  • What it looks like when AI does the job. Software built for one task, side by side with doing the same task by hand in ChatGPT, using systems we’ve built for UK businesses.
  • How we’d build yours. Start with one job, test a working version on real examples, connect it to your systems, and plan the change with the people whose work it affects.

One of the examples is a UK valve supplier. Its engineers were copying more than 50 fields by hand from every manufacturer datasheet. A document agent now handles each datasheet in about six minutes, and it got 97.3% of fields right across 120 test documents.

Bring us one job

When you reserve a place, the form asks for one job that eats up your team’s week. We may use a few of them as examples on the day, and we’re happy to talk any of them through over a drink afterwards.
